Mrs. Rebecca

A look into our week:

Math - we will begin multiplication strategies. They will begin learning about arrays - putting objects into equal groups.

Grammar - we will be going over plural nouns with -s and -es

Spelling/Phonics - long i sounds (-i, -ie, -igh)

Tricks for spelling words this week - if the long l is the last sound they hear, its -ie.

All of our -igh words are paired with a t making them -ight

If the long I sound is in the middle and not paired with a t, it's a long I by itself

Writing - we will be finishing up our personal narratives and publishing our papers

Reading comprehension skill - cause and effect

Social studies - we will begin our economics unit
